Technology

The hotel and serviced accommodation market has seen the first stages of integration with the advert of portals like AirBnB, LastMinute and Booking, but in the main, there has been little or no innovation in the hotels themselves; not beyond an electronic door card and/or a blue-tooth TV.

The Stayed Smart guest technology is accessed via an application, or web browser in the event of being unable to download the application. Alternatives are available for those who do not have and/or cannot use either application or web browser, including options for accessibility.

About

Stayed Smart Plc is a brand new hotel operation envisaged to become market leaders in the new age of hotel operation.

Many hotels already offer hotel room doors and internal calls to action that are controlled by an iPad or a phone which they label as 'smart', yet it is the room which is at best, partially smart, not the system.

Through collaboration over the years, the Stayed Smart vision was to combat the inadequacy of existing systems. The development team combined programming, law, property management and system implementation in order to create the underlying features of the Stayed Smart process.

Stayed Smart are building upon smart entry and control but streaming the process by adding in property management features such as:

  • Avoiding heating and/or cooling an empty room
  • Common area CCTV views and report on over occupancy of rooms
  • Monitoring of room cleanliness and potential hazards (system initiates response, significantly decreasing response times)

All guests are taken care of from start to finish. They are in control of how much or how little help they need, perhaps with a little nudge every now and then as required by each accommodation provider. Indeed guests will feel that they have Stayed Smart and not wasted a moment of their time.

  • Pioneered automatic document generation for brokers and estate agents utilising a web facility to facilitate immediate delivery to solicitors.
  • Provided business that helped grow Beaumont Legal which eventually resulted in multi-million pound acquisition by a US Legal firm.
  • Engineering an unattended covid-safe secure remote system for managing a sports facility, including remotely monitored motion detection, automatic smart controlled LED floodlights, gate, security shutters, and two way audio so the site can be managed remotely.

Originally programming for Triangle Amusements Limited a multi-million pound business in the amusement industry in Norfolk, Simon has previously sold complex Visual Basic programs on software platforms, authored sophisticated VBA programs analysing stock market trends in oil prices, monetary exchange rates, development companies.
